![]() ![]() The original recordings are horrible: very hissy and way, way speeded up. To take the Audio Cleaning Lab s/w for an immediate test drive, I used Phil Lesh's old jazz tapes from 1959 with him playing trumpet. Everything was smooth, simple, and hassle-free. The d/l, installation, and registration were a snap. Today I d/l and installed Audio Cleaning Lab. Adam and Magix quickly sent me by e-mail the installation file for Audio Cleaning Lab 16, the PDF file containing the entire user manual, the registration and activation code for my FREE USE of this s/w, and my user and password for using the Magix Service Center online. I said there's more tapes where that comes from, and everything is pre-1980. ![]() I told Adam that I am an old retired Taper and I've been circulating many of my old tape recordings the past couple of years. ![]() It has an excellent built-in Dehisser module, and a very powerful built-in Resampling module (pitch correction / speed correction / resampling). This version is maybe 3 or 4 years old, I think. I have decent experience using Samplitude Pro ver 7.22. I didn't know this at first, but it doesn't matter. Samplitude software, and Samplitude Pro, are professional Audio Mastering s/w products from Magix. ![]()
